Dinner is served
In an effort to keep me fed, Kyle stocked our freezer last night with frozen dinners. This is what I'm having tonight. You are wishing you were invited to dine with me this evening, aren't you?
Sheryl, nope, no kidding here. Kyle takes his job seriously in the family: that of keeping me fed. I feed the children, he feeds me. But who feeds him? Good question.
The result: 2 Thumbs UP! The fact that my meal was a mere 64 cents also added to the yummy factor. I liked it so much I had it for lunch the next day.
It really was delicious. The rice was very flavorful and the broccoli really tasted wonderful, as did the fish. The apple crisp ---mmm! Though doesn't come close to Mom's apple crisp (not that it's trying to. after all, it is a weight watchers meal!)
The no mess easy clean up isn't all that important to me. The alternative to eating this meal is that I just wouldn't eat dinner. So, there wouldn't be any mess anyway. Once the day is over and I make the kids their dinner and put them to bed, I'm so tired I don't feel like making myself anything, and if I do have energy, I'm not going to be using to to make food--laundry and dishes is a much better option. Oh, and blogging! I'd rather blog than make myself dinner!
Thanks again sweetie for snagging such a great clearance end cap item at Target. Lucky me.

you're kidding right? although i'm curious to know if it was any good. i think they always look better than they taste.
No dishes, no sweeping or mopping and unless you are as messy of an eater as my sons no counters to wipe off either. Nice.
Not gonna lie...that actually looks pretty tasty to me! YUM! Quick fix quick clean up meals are the best!
I know how those things are, the picture is always better than the real thing.
One thing I learned as a young boy scout was that if you add enough lemon pepper, ANYTHING can taste good.
BTW how was the apple crisp that came with it??? :)
