Back in 2003, Just a couple of weeks after Michelle and I got engaged, she decided to leave the states and run off to Ecuador for about 4 months. (Of course that sent some mixed signals if you know what I mean) She had volunteered to work in a orphanage run by the Catholic church. Click here to see the website of the volunteer organization.
Well, to cap off my birthday week this year she decided she would leave me again for Ecuador!!! (This time for only a week.) So, what is the first thing a dad does when mom leaves....go out to eat. I am going to try to eat out every meal for the entire week with the kids so I don't make a mess in the kitchen.
