Today is a very special day. Cade turned 4! Last week while Michelle was gone a couple of packages showed up on our doorstep. Unfortunately, one of the boxes was damaged enough that Cade could see what was inside...CARS. Not only were these cars, but they were the Disney Pixar movie "Cars." I quickly hid them in my closet and told Cade he had to wait until Sunday. He immediately started pulling reverse psychology on me informing me the following "I don't want my birthday. I don't want my presents. I don't like it."

Cade is an avid collector and has all but three Cars now: Sarge, Snot Rod, and the Lightning McQueen with the muddy tires. He did have Snot Rod (Michelle has renamed him Hot Rod for obvious reasons...), but was mysteriously damaged in the bath tub. I think he bit off the rubber piece on the top. Now, for some reason, Snot Rod isn't getting the respect he deserves and Cade completely shuns it. Michelle and I have been advised, by him, to purchase a new one.

Happy Birthday Cade!!! I can't believe he's 4! I still remember holding him when he was just barely born, I can't believe how fast time has gone by.
I can't believe he's four already! I wish we lived closer--I know Jordan would just love to chase him. Wish Cade a happy birthday from us!
Happy Birthday to the Cadester! We wish we could have been there to celebrate with him
Happy Birthday Cade! With everything going on I didn't get a card in the mail. Please forgive my shortcomings.
Have a GREAT birthday!
That is crazy that he is four! I remember when you were with child, Michelle, going to class! How crazy! He is so cute!!
CARS!!! What is it with Cars and why do we (I) feel like we HAVE to have every new one out. Just the other day we were at Target and low and behold they have some new ones. My favorite "My Name is Not Chuck"! Dinoco helicopter mini size, we already have the big one that has Maters voice screaming "I'm happier than a tornado in a trailer park!" Of course I have to buy them all. And I can't just give them to my kids, they have to "earn" them. Otherwise what is that teaching them, that they get everything they want? Well, they really do, we see it, we buy it, they get it eventually. I just can't seem to help myself. My friend just bought herself a car that she couldn't resist. But in order to pass it by the hubby it was for her not the boys... Disney/Pixar got us good with this one!!! Love Michelle and Kyle, I love reading your posts! Happy Birthday to the Cadester!
