My wife was born to run. She loves it. In fact, she would have ran in the St George marathon had she not torn her achilles playing lasertag with me. I remember she would run 20 miles on many a Saturday while we were dating.
Anyways, this gift is to help her while she is getting back in shape so she can run a marathon with Alicia Spencer. I think they both set a date to have one ran by the end of the year.

I like this 12 days of brithday thing you have going here! Bring your i-pod over and I will help you fill it up! :) Happy Wednesday!
Whoa! I hope you're not talking about me. I don't think I will EVER run a marathon. A half sure--any day--but NEVER a marathon. Sorry, Michelle you are on your own with that one. Cute iPod! P.S. I think you must have me confused with your SIL Melody
Oh no, I definitely mean YOU Alicia!

(michelle here). I'd like to do some explaining about this birthday week. In no way do I mean to steal kyle's thunder or try and steer him from the props he is most definitely due, but these posts are beginning to seem like we have such deep pockets and spend frivolously on our gifting for birthdays. Allow me to explain:
The washer and dryer:
Over the last few months we have had problems with our washer and dryer-- they are older than me (or just about) and the washer has flooded on us twice. One evening Kyle came home from work to find his feet soaked in puddles. I was merrily in the bedroom folding laundry without a care in the world. So we had to use the shop vac (please take it back to the office, honey!) and dirty all the towels i had just folded to clean up the mess. Also, the picture of the washer and dryer is deceiving. We opted for the Americana look in our laundry room. Kyle, being the fantastic shopper that he is, found a top of the line washer and dryer at the Sear's scratch and dent outlet, saving us hundreds of dollars. The catch? The washer is cherry red and the dryer is midnight blue.
I-pod: I've had the I-pod for a few months (a hand-me-down from Kyle), but it has kind of been a pain carrying it on runs, so Kyle was thoughtful and got me this cute pink arm band. So no, I did not get an i-pod for my birthday, I got the arm band.
