Entryway

And finally we are at the entryway. We installed a new front door which lets in more light and painted the walls and ceiling--- notice the nice section next to the new front door where Cade has chipped off the paint. It gives it an antiqueish effect, don't you think?. Thinking back to our old door I recall being terrified of Cade sneaking out of the house in the middle of the night because the door did not have a dead bolt.
I promise I won't post anymore boring before and after pictures. I am really doing this for selfish purposes. I like to see that I've accomplished something in the last several months and being able to visualize those accomplishments is gratifying.

It has been SO fun to see how your house has transformed. If I were you, it would be difficult for me to move now after all that work. Thanks for all the great decorating and remodeling ideas - drapes over the overwhelming shelving, paint colors, and accentuating the homes pros. I like your less is more theory...not to discount all your hard work...I think you were smart with your choices and didn't over-do the remodel.

I also do not think I could move after making my house so cute like yours. Your house is also unique and I love unique houses with charm and its own personality. I would buy it in a heartbeat if I wanted to live in your state and had the money!
