THEN: To match the sky blue 80s wall theme, the previous homeowners left a sky blue shower curtain along with sky blue window treatments to complement a very 80s wallpaper border with pink and peach butterflies. Now: I stripped the wallpaper border, painted the walls the same color as our bedroom, installed a round shower curtain rod (kyle did this) , replaced the shower curtain, took down all the wall ornaments, changed the knob fixtures, and gave the shelving a fresh coat of white paint.

I love how you found a shower curtain that matched the new paint but also worked with the old tile, so you didn't have to redo the floor too. Smart.
You know, I was actually terrified to go with red and white for the curtain because the tile is an unattractive 80s pink, and there was no way we were re-doing that floor. I thought it would clash, but thank goodness it doesn't look as pink as it did when the walls were blue!
